Treatment For Diabetes – Natural Treatment for Diabetes – Tea for Diabetes

My mom was 55 years old when doctors diagnosed her with pre-diabetes.

Pre-diabetes means that your blood sugar level is higher than normal, but it’s not yet high enough to be classified as type 2 diabetes.

Pre-diabetes was an opportunity for her to improve her health. With healthy lifestyle changes such as eating healthy foods, including physical activity in her daily routine and maintaining a healthy weight she was able to bring her blood sugar level back to normal.

I was looking for some natural treatments, a herbal tea for diabetes. So I found out about the dry bean pods tea.  She drank bean pod tea daily and it had amazing results. Using bean pods for tea her high blood sugar level dropped down.

The diet played also an important role. Eating always regularly at the same hours, three times daily, having two small snacks – eating right is vital if you’re trying to prevent or control diabetes.

A diabetes diet is simply a healthy eating plan that is high in nutrients, low in fat, and moderate in calories. My mom is now 83 years old, and since she was 57 years old had never been developed diabetes.

How you can prepare a medicinal tea from bean pods for diabetes:

Put a spoon of grounded bean pods in 250-300 ml water. Boil the tea on low heat for 15 minutes. Filter and drink the tea three times daily if possible. Avoid the sugar and all products contain high level of sugar.

Another natural treatment, alternative treatment for diabetes is cinnamon that reduces serum glucose, triglyceride, LDL cholesterol, and total cholesterol in people with type 2 diabetes.

Take cinnamon powder, 3 grams each day placed in a glass of unsweetened fruit juice, water or coffee. Cinnamon powder can lower blood sugar, prevent bacterial growth in the stomach and stimulate appetite.

The American Diabetes Center study show that intake of 1, 3, or 6 g of cinnamon per day reduces serum glucose, triglyceride, LDL cholesterol, and total cholesterol in people with type 2 diabetes and suggest that the inclusion of cinnamon in the diet of people with type 2 diabetes will reduce risk factors associated with diabetes and cardiovascular diseases.

As I said before, diet and life style play an important role.

About Lifestyle:

      • Personal hygiene is important; especially strictly keep clean skin and mouth. Wash your teeth after every meal and treat yourself to any dental problems. Take care of your feet by washing them with soap and water daily and by avoiding cold and inappropriate footwear.
      • Avoid any kind of stress if possible.
      • Avoid overeating and sedentary life that predispose to obesity. Obesity worsens diabetes and facilitates vascular complications. In order to burn glucose better, having muscle activity is useful, but not intensively. Therefore are recommending walks, short trips, light gymnastics and sports: table tennis, cycling, canoeing, hunting, short climbs etc.
