Benefits of Green Walnuts Wine
This natural medicinal wine of green walnuts is really an elixir, known since antiquity. This wine has proven efficiency on people’s health over the time.
The infusions and the decoctions of plants are home remedies that have positive effects on health, but do not confuse the medicinal wine with the table wine; for this reason drink the recommended amount, which is a medicine without equal. It is beneficial for anemia, rheumatism, gout, and decreases slightly the high blood pressure.
Green Walnuts Wine I
Place 8 green walnuts, crushed, in one liter of red wine, add 10.5 oz. (300 grams) of sugar; mix until the sugar is dissolved, then left to soak in the sun for 6 weeks. Mix the liquid well every day; after six weeks filter the wine and pour it in dark glass bottles.
Walnuts Leaves Wine
Mix 12.3 oz. (350 g) of walnut leaves, 1 liter of red wine, 1 stick of cinnamon, 3.5 oz. (100 g sugar), 25 ml (3 tablespoons) rum, and let it soak for a month.
Green Walnuts Wine II
To prepare this wine, use only green nuts collected in early July.
In a large glass jar of 20 liters, put 50 nuts cut into four (with peels). Add 5.5 lb. – 6.6 lb. (2.5-3 kg) of sugar and 15 liters of boiled and cooled water. Mix thoroughly until sugar is incorporated perfect. Then add the yeast – 2 tablespoons (20 g), dissolved in a little warm water. Cover the jar with a drilled cover, in which is introduced a hose to remove carbon dioxide (one end is above the liquid in the jar, the other end into a small jar with water). Leave the jar in a place away from sunlight, at a temperature not exceeding 18 degrees, for six to eight weeks. After this time, remove the wine using a hose and pour into dark glass bottles. Close tightly and leave the bottles in a cool, dark place for two months; then you can use the wine.
Usage: Take one tablespoon before the main meals of the day (without time restriction).
Green Walnuts Tincture
How to do: cut 20 green walnuts into four pieces each, pour over alcohol; after 14 days, filter. Keep it in cold places, in small bottles, dark, which can be used for two years. Use this mixture for local massages against rheumatic pains.
Green walnut tincture is administered orally one teaspoon in half a glass of water, three times a day for several weeks; it has benefits for rheumatism, gout, hypothyroidism, and urinary incontinence.
For external use the tincture to wash and disinfect wounds, for gargle, or wash the mouth in case of sores or wounds caused by tooth extraction.
